Da Capo performs Tribute to the Angels

Da Capo Chamber Players

As part of their season opener, the Da Capo Chamber Players will present Tribute to the Angels, a vocal-instrumental cycle based on poetry of American-British poet, H. D. (Hilda Doolittle), who lived through the "blitz" in London in World War II. The poetry is from H. D.'s Trilogy, which emerged out of that experience. Soprano Jennifer Zetlan will join an expanded Da Capo group conducted by James Baker. Other works by Shulamit Ran, Elliott Carter, Chinary Ung, and Philip Glass.
